United Socialist States of Amerika?
I know that I’m not posting any breaking news but I just had to get this off my chest. I normally don’t go putting forth my political views because people get so excited when you say something that goes contrary to their belief and even though I’ve had CPR training, I have never been called upon to put it into use and I’d like to keep it that way.
Why the title of my blog you may ask? Well it seems that certain of the more liberal political view seem to want to change our nation to a socialist nation. First, the "Fairness Doctrine" that has been recently pushed by the Left Wing Socialists in congress in order to squelch broadcasting that doesn’t agree with them. (I can call them "Left Wing Socialists" because they feel free to call folks like me right wing extremists...or even fundamentalists) Seems the "Fairness Doctrine" wasn’t necessary as long as all the news media and other outlets pushed their agenda but as soon as conservatives took over talk radio they thought something had to be done.
Then when Barack Obama got caught on camera telling "Joe the Plumber" that he wanted to "spread the wealth around" Everyone has seen that video and the controversy that ensued afterwords. Some even attacked poor Joe the plumber by saying he owed back taxes then OOPS! That’s part of what he was talking about....too high taxes!
One thing Obama doesn’t seem to realize is that the best way to spread the wealth around is by letting the small business grow so they can give jobs to people. They can’t do that if they are taxed and regulated to death.
Then when a news reporter asked Joe Biden about all this he gets his panties in a wad and the station is banned from talking to anyone on the Obama ticket. She didn’t attack him, only asked the very questions that have been playing on the minds of a good many Americans. It’s okay for the news reporters to go on and on about how much Palin’s wardrobe cost but don’t ask about actual policies of the number one candidate on a certain liberal ticket! NEVER!
hen they pull out the race card when we have the nerve to not favor Obama. It reminds me of the story "The Emperor’s New Clothes" "If you don’t vote for Barack Obama you are a racist" Well nobody wants to be a racist so they have to vote for him!
Well guess what...I’m not voting for him anyway. And if I’m a racist, please explain why I voted for Alan Keyes every time I got the chance? It’s not the skin color, it’s the Content of the Character (sound familiar?) So please put away the race cards and at least accept that some people don’t want the "change" that Barack Obama will bring to this nation.
